Although HTML image elements (img) are required to have alt text, the recommendations on how to use alt text are vague. Linked graphics should have descriptive alt text. Decorative graphics should have blank (empty) alt text. But what about graphics that don’t convey pertinent information, such as a photograph of a corporate headquarters?
