THE CORPORATION is resonating with audiences all over the world. Analyzing

what people are doing in response, filmmakers Mark Achbar (co-director of
MANUFACTURING CONSENT), Jennifer Abbott and Joel Bakan provide a darkly
amusing account of the institution's evolution as a legal "person," and a
powerful indictment of the roots of corporate power.
Based on Joel Bakan's book "The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of
Profit and Power", the film has been generating popular support from the
grassroots street level to the boardrooms of the Corporate Social
Responsibility movement.
