Mother-Daughter Talk the Morning After
To say that she loves dancing on thin ice
is an understatement, but comes close.
(Drawn to the wild, never-been-tried before,
just for the thrill of it, never meaning any harm,
never expecting anything more than a
memorable adventure).
So, the morning after, as she eats breakfast
with her young daughter, she pulls out pictures
from the night before: women dressed
in men's clothing, men dressed as women,
a man posing in an act of bestiality,
her mother in bed with several men.
The daughter shakes her head,
looks the mother in the eye--
says from her wise experience:
anyone else looking at these
might suspect that you were having
a little more than a harmless good time.
