Modern Music History

Osric University's Modern Music History Department will have a narrow focus: music's effect on society, and society's effect on music.

The three topics of study we would first like to pursue are:

• Japanese Hip Hop Studies
• Musicians as Performers: the Affect of Prerecorded Audio
• The Merging of Genres: The "Bring Tha Noise" Effect
